Bravery In Action

A message from the Founder

Every responder carries a moment they will never forget — and those moments forge a family of rescuers that lasts a lifetime. I founded SABRE because I believe in that family, and in the team who now call this country home and want to serve it.

My team is made up uniquely of former First Responders who once rescued under fire in conflict zones and humanitarian crises, and who are now ready to retrain and update their skills across the UK’s search and rescue disciplines, including fire, rescue, water, and wider emergency response. Many are bi‑lingual, which strengthens how we connect with communities and work across diverse environments.

I believe the UK is entering a moment where unified, multi‑skilled teams can strengthen our national resilience. As they retrain, my team brings with them qualities shaped by their past work: speed when it matters, calm under pressure, quick‑minded problem‑solving, and a deep sense of comradeship, resilience, and humility.

SABRE stands alongside the UK’s search and rescue community. We are committed to strengthening capability, sharing experience, and building partnerships that serve the public with dignity, purpose and compassion.

If you are exploring collaboration, sponsorship, or long‑term partnership, we welcome the conversation. Together, we can build a capability rooted in unity and the belief that every life matters.
